What my work isn't...

Are you a therapist?

NO! So…

  • I won’t work with you for years. Life is too short and precious for that.

  • I don’t assume you’re broken or need healing. Exactly the opposite. You’re a whole person who’s an expert on themselves.

  • We work together as equals, nothing less. I may perhaps have more privilege but I do my damndest to level the playing field between us.

Who I am not for:

  • Folx with persistent mental health challenges that interfere with their everyday lives. You deserve relief and support that is beyond my scope. Happy to refer you to a therapist though!

  • Anyone who is unwilling to challenge ideas of what success, happiness, pleasure could look like.

  • Folx who would rather defer to an outside expert and follow a laundry list of “to- do’s”.

  • Anyone looking for directives i.e. “you should do _____”. I am not a guru-type and I believe in choice and consent.

  • Anyone who cannot commit to working as hard as I do.
