A more accurate view of histoy

November 27, 2021 Elizabeth M. Johnson, MA

I’m originally from Connecticut. I grew up on stories of Plymouth plantation, pilgrims and multiple field trips to Plymouth Bay. So the 11/4 Washington Post article, from which this quote is taken, really struck home. And I wanted to share it here since Thanksgiving is a day that many of us celebrate.

Head here to read the full piece about the history of the Wampanoag Nation and why the fourth Thursday in November is not a day of celebration. And head here to join me in making a donation to the Mashpee Wampanoag Nation.
